ReadyForce, operated by ReadyForce Industrial Services Inc.
Effective date: September 28, 2026 | Version: V1
In plain language: ReadyForce is committed to a website and a service experience that people with disabilities can use. This page explains the standard we work to, what we have done, how to get help or another format, and how to tell us about a barrier.
1. Our commitment
In plain language: Accessibility is part of how we serve customers, work with suppliers and hire.
ReadyForce Industrial Services Inc. ("ReadyForce") is committed to providing goods, services, information and employment in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities. We are committed to meeting our obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation, and to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely way by identifying, removing and preventing barriers. Our obligations under AODA do not replace or limit our obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code.
This statement also serves as ReadyForce's public accessibility policy under the AODA Information and Communications Standard. It applies to ReadyForce and its divisions: Machinery Movers, Millwrights, Mechanical, and Overhead Doors and Docks.
2. The standard we work to
In plain language: Our website is built to WCAG 2.0 Level AA, the standard Ontario law requires of organizations our size.
As an Ontario organization with 50 or more employees, ReadyForce is required to make its public website and web content conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, other than live captions and pre-recorded audio description. The ReadyForceIND.com website launched in September 2026 was designed and built to meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA, and we work toward the more recent WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 success criteria where practical, as Ontario moves toward adopting them.
3. What we have done
In plain language: Here is how the site was built to be accessible.
The Site was built with accessibility in mind, including:
- Semantic page structure with meaningful headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate.
- Full keyboard operability, including the quote request dialog, navigation menus and forms, with visible focus indicators.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons, and descriptive labels on all form fields, including required-field indicators.
- Colour contrast meeting WCAG 2.0 AA ratios for text and interactive elements, and information not conveyed by colour alone.
- Text that can be resized to 200 percent without loss of content or function, and a responsive layout that works on mobile devices.
- Where a video on this site does not yet include captions, we will provide the content in an accessible format on request.
- Downloadable PDF documents produced by ReadyForce are tagged for accessibility where possible. Manufacturer documents are provided as received and may not be fully accessible; we will help you get the information another way on request.
4. Ongoing work and known limitations
In plain language: Accessibility is ongoing. Some older or third-party content may not yet meet the standard.
We test the Site as we add content and features, and we review accessibility as part of our regular website maintenance. Some content may not yet fully conform, including older manufacturer documents, third-party embedded content such as maps and video players, and user-generated content on third-party review platforms. We are working to address these and welcome reports of any barrier you encounter.
5. Accessible formats and communication supports
In plain language: If you need our information in another format, ask and we will arrange it at no extra cost. We acknowledge requests within two weeks.
On request, ReadyForce will provide or arrange accessible formats and communication supports for the information we publish, including quotes, invoices, safety documents and service information, in a timely manner and at no cost beyond what others pay. We will consult with you to determine the format that works for you. We will acknowledge a request within 10 business days.
6. Customer service, employment and training
In plain language: Our commitments extend beyond the website to how we serve customers and hire people.
- Customer service: we welcome people with disabilities and their support persons and service animals in areas of our premises open to the public, and we provide notice of temporary disruptions to accessible services.
- Employment: we notify applicants and employees that accommodations are available throughout recruitment, assessment, hiring and employment, and we provide individual accommodation plans and individualized emergency response information where needed.
- Training: employees and others who deal with the public on our behalf receive training on AODA standards and the Ontario Human Rights Code as it relates to people with disabilities, and we keep records of that training.
7. Third-party content
In plain language: We do not control other websites we link to.
The Site links to and embeds content from third parties. We do not control their accessibility. If you have difficulty with third-party content reached through our Site, tell us and we will help you get the information another way.
8. Feedback and contact
In plain language: Tell us about any barrier. Here is how.
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website, our services and this policy. You can reach us by phone, email or mail, or by any other method that works for you. We will respond in a format that takes your accessibility needs into account.
