A dock leveler is specified to the pit, the approach, the trailers you load and how hard the dock works. Power type, style, capacity and safety options are all chosen to suit.
Power Type
Hydraulic for the busiest docks and the lowest lifetime maintenance, mechanical for the lowest up-front cost, and air-powered where clean, simple operation is the priority.
Leveler Style
Pit-style for standard docks, edge-of-dock for shallow pits or very light duty applications, and vertical-storing for a full thermal seal in climate-controlled, cold storage and food manufacturing facilities.
Capacity and Size
Capacity matched to your loaded forklift, with platform widths to 7 feet for side-by-side pallets and lengths that keep the incline gentle.
Safety and Sealing
Support struts, free-fall stops, lip barriers and hold-downs, plus under-leveler seals and interlocks with the door and vehicle restraint.
