Restraint Types and Options
Which Restraint Fits Your Trailers and Loading Style?
The right restraint comes down to two questions: the trailer types your dock receives, and whether you load hitched trailers or dropped ones. From there the type follows.
Rotating Hook Restraint
The dock standard. A powered hook rises and captures the trailer rear-impact guard, holding it to the dock. Suits most standard trailers and high-traffic docks.
Stabilizing Restraint
Holds the trailer against both horizontal and vertical movement for wider and heavier loads, where a hook alone would let the trailer shift.
Vertical Barrier Restraint
A barrier that rises in front of the rear-impact guard, suited to live loading where the tractor stays hitched to the trailer.
Wheel-Based Restraint
Secures the trailer at the wheel, handling the widest range of trailers, including liftgates and any trailer without a usable rear-impact guard.

Scope and Fixed Quote
We spec the restraint, the controls and the interlock and price it before the work starts. The quote is the invoice.

Install and Full Test
